Site Plan
Description A site plan review involves a detailed analysis of a proposed development project to ensure it meets specific standards in the Town’s zoning regulations.

Depending on the size and scope of the proposed project, the petitioner’s application submittal may consist of a few drawings or a complete plan set with architectural drawings, engineered plans, landscaping plans, and outdoor lighting schematics.

Aside from zoning review, the petitioner’s application may also be reviewed by other departments, such as engineering, utilities, public works, fire, and police, to ensure their concerns, if any, are addressed during the review process.

If a project is approved, the developer or property owner must comply with the terms and conditions in the approval before beginning construction.

Decisionmaker The Plan Commission makes the final decision.

Appeals The Commission's decision can be appealed to circuit court.
